Hitchin 4 XV 36 - Weston RFC 32
Herts/Middlesex Merit table 7
The Hedgehogs got a run out against one of their local rivals and won a hard fought, close match coming from behind in the second half. The prehistoric front row was back together and with solid backup from the second row managed to boss the scrums giving the Hogs backs plenty of opportunity to run at the defense. There were ‘man of the match’ performances from Robert King who was, as always, unpredictable; and Chris Johnson showed how to soak up the Weston defense with some forceful charges. Enjoyed by players and spectators alike, this was a good day for the Hedgehogs and saw the return of the “Three Kings” in the Hedgehogs’ squad
