joined hitchin from letchworth in 2000 following disbanding of all colts and u16s & u17s.
played for u17s/colts under brian baines. went on tour in easter 2001 and was tour captain and voted colt of the year at the end of the season.
left for worcester uni in summer of 2001 and was invited to trial for the academy, was unsuccessful in 2nd round of 3 in a team with richard blaze and dyland hartley.
played for uni 2s (worcester warratahs) for 3 seasons @ prop and hooker. the squad trained together and 1s played in BUSA premiership.
during holidays i came back to play for 2s, 3s or 4s.
in summer 2004 in came back to train to play for the 1s and between 04-08 i played over 80 games for 1s collecting 2 silver ties.
oct08 had a back injury that put me out for almost 2 years and i returned in aug10 to play for 3s.
also played for tewksbury and malvern duirng uni days.
